Water Rates:

In accordance with Ordinance No. 6082, passed May 15, 2001 and commencing on July 1, 2001, the water rates are as follows:

For those residents inside the city limits:

The minimum monthly charge for service through meters according to size:

Residents can use up to 267 cubic feet to receive only the minimum monthly charge. After 267 cubic feet, the rates are as follows:

268-667 cubic feet at $.022125 per cubic foot

668-1,333 cubic feet at $.021450 per cubic foot

1,334-6,667 cubic feet at $.020400 per cubic foot

6,668-13,333 cubic feet at $.019050 per cubic foot

13,334-26,667 cubic feet at $.017550 per cubic foot

For Industrial and Commercial Users, the rates are as follows:

Wastewater Rates:

Wastewater rates are based on water consumption. Wastewater rates are figured by the following:

The total consumption of water shown on the first three actually read billings of water in each calendar year commencing with the first reading in January and ending on the first reading in March, are divided by three (3) and that figure is considered the residents average usage. Commencing April 01, the wastewater rate is then calculated based upon that average. That monthly rate will remain constant until April of the following year.

If a resident does not occupy the residence for the first three months of the year, the monthly wastewater fee will be based upon actual monthly usage.

According to Ordinance No. 6118, which passed October 15,2001, and commenced on November 01, 2001, the wastewater rates are as follows:

The minimum base rate per month shall be $16.00 for the first 666 cubic feet of water consumed each month. For all usage in excess of the 666 cubic feet, the applicable rate is $3.19 per 133.34 cubic foot of water consumed.

Refuse Rates:

According to Ordinance No. 6083, the service charge for collection of residential solid waste shall be in the amount of $8.00 per month.

The refuse service is not an optional service for city residents.
